It can be difficult to appreciate your body, and all that it does for you, in a culture with narrow beauty ideals that show an unsettling lack of diversity in terms of body shapes, sizes, ages, abilities, hair types, and skin shades. If you find you are struggling to form a healthy relationship with your body, you are not alone. I believe that through intuitive living we all have the ability to celebrate our authentic selves.

We live in a culture that wants to avoid pain and grief at all costs, but the truth is we all face multiple forms of loss across our lifetime. In our work together I will help you better understand your grief and
the importance of authentic mourning. No matter what you are grieving, we will explore how grief is impacting you given your unique situation. I’ve found when we are experiencing a significant change, we often have to grieve what was, or what we hoped for, in order to fully step into what is.
A cancer diagnosis can be one the most distressing experiences of a lifetime. Whether you are newly diagnosed, or pivoting into survivorship, there are a lot of unknowns to wade through. Together we will identify a range of tools to help you manage anxiety, fear of recurrence, and a host of other emotions you might be experiencing. We will also focus on reconnecting you to your body so you can be more present in your daily life.
I have been an instructor and keynote speaker at national conferences including the annual Association of Oncology Social Work conference and the National Hemophilia Foundation conference. I present in healthcare organizations, and other settings, on the topics of boundaries, finding your authentic voice, grief and loss, self-care and body positivity.
